Book Label 2009 is a versatile piece of software that will let you catalog all your books creating a database, and will let you manage all the information about them in an easy way. The application is also able to keep records of borrowed books, and records of wanted items.
The program has an easy-to-use interface based on Microsoft Office 2007. From there, you will be able to create new databases (as many as you desire) of all your books. Each entry added to the database will have many fields to fill in, which were created to keep a complete registry of each book in your collection. It doesn't matter if it is an audio book, an e-book, a manual, or a booklet; everything can be recorded: status, condition, ISBN, number of pages, language, etc.
Moreover, if you need to add new genres, countries, languages, or book conditions, you will be able to do it easily, which gives you more flexibility to adapt the program to your necessities.
In addition, the program has a built-in search function that will allow you to browse the alphabetical buttons in order to find any book. But there's also an advanced search function with logical operators and conditions that will show you more precise results.
Furthermore, you will be able to export your data to HTML, XML, TEXT or Excel files.
Finally, this new version (2.3) is compatible with Windows Vista. Besides, a customizable thumbnail view has been added, as well as book information views.
